ATTENDANCE

Students must come to class on time and prepared. Regular attendance is imperative to the

dancer’s progress.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Please be on time.

Please be respectful to teachers, parents and especially your classmates. Treat each

dancer with support, respect and encouragement. Teachers have the right to dismiss any

dancer who displays unsatisfactory behavior.

COSTUME DEPOSITS

The cost of the costume is $70.00* and payment in full must be received by 1/1/12. (This

may be paid in full on 10/1/11 or split into 2 payments of $35.00 each due 10/1/11 and

1/1/12). An additional fee of $20.00 will be charged for each recital costume not paid in full

by 1/1/12. Once bulk orders are made, costume companies charge additional shipping and

late fees for supplemental orders. Costume fees are non-refundable after 1/1/12. Hip Hop &

Drill Team classes pay $35.00 for a half costume which is due 1/1/12.

REGISTRATION FEE

All students are required to pay a one time, $30 registration fee (individual) or $50 family at

registration.

CLASS PLACEMENT

Students are placed in class according to their age, ability, and experience. One or all may

apply when placing the dancers in an appropriate class level.

CLASS OBSERVATION

Parents and guardians are not allowed in class with the students. Each of our studios have

viewing windows through which you may watch your dancer(s). Thank you!

MAKE UP CLASSES

Classes that are cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions, or for any other reason

may be made up at a later date. If you are sick you may drop in for a class that has open

space to make up your missed class. Weather cancellations will be posted on our website

or on our voicemail which you can reach at 972-220-9028.

INSURANCE

All students must be covered under their own insurance policy. Should an injury occur, it is

understood that the student’s own policy is your only source of reimbursement.

WAITING ROOM

Feel free to wait and enjoy FREE WiFi in the studio office while your child is in class. All

children in the waiting room MUST have a parent or guardian with them at all times. Dance

Integriy will NOT be responsible for watching children. THANK YOU!!

STUDIO RULES

* No food, soda, candy or gum in the dance rooms.

* Label all of your personal items…shoes, bags, etc. We are not responsible for lost or

stolen items. Please ask about open locker space.

* No street shoes allowed in the dance studios

* Please use the lockers or shelves for storing your shoes and clothes.

* Hair must be pulled back and out of your face

* Dancers are to be picked up promptly following class. If delayed please let us know.

* All tuition, costume, and special event fees are non-refundable.

* Please do not open studio doors while a class is in progress.

PAYMENTS/ LATE FEES

Monthly tuition is due by the 1st of each month. Tuition is non-refundable. A late fee of $10

will be added to your account after the 10th of the month. If an account reaches 25 days past

due, at our option, lessons will be suspended. If an account reaches 45 days past due the

student will be removed from our records and reregistration with any fees past and present

paid before resuming classes.

Payment may be made in the form of check, cash or credit card.

You may either pay at the studio, mail-in your payment or pay online.

Prices are based on the total number of classes offered from August through June. Even

though some months may have three, four or five classes in them, monthly tution remains

the same.

PARKING

Parking is available in front of and behind the building.

LOST AND FOUND

All items will be placed in a bin by the desk. Unclaimed items will be donated to CCA on a

monthly basis.

FIRST NIGHT OF CLASS

Please arrive a few minutes early in order to familiarize yourself with the studio layout. If you

have any questions, please feel free to stop by the office for help.

If your child is enrolled in a combo class, the students will be let out half-way through to allow

for a change of shoes. Preschool aged children will bring their dance bags into the

classroom and will not leave the class room.

Your teacher will take weekly attendance in class. If you know you will be absent from class,

please email or call the studio so we can let your teacher know. Thank you for your

cooperation!

RECITAL (2012)

Dress rehearsal will be held on May 31st (evening) and Recital on June 2nd at

2:00pm.This years recital will be held at:

CLASS WITHDRAWLS

Tuition is non-refundable. Tuition is posted on the 1st of each month and cannot be changed

after that date. Therefore, if you withdraw on the 3rd of the month, you are responsible for

that month’s tuition. Summer fees may be pro-rated at the discretion of Dance Integrity. Fall

fees are NOT prorated.

You are responsible for all aspects of class participation unless a class withdrawl form is

received and entered in the computer. These are available at the front desk.

Final date to withdraw and receive your full Costume Deposit is November 1st. After this

date, you are responsible for all fees, even if not in attendance.

Attire and Etiquette for Class…

Ballet – With the exception of Combo classes, any color tights and a leotard must be worn to

class. Ballet skirts may be worn with the insturctors approval. Pink ballet shoes for girls and

black flats for boys are preferred. Hair must be pulled back and out of the dancer's face.

Jazz /Tap /Lyrical – Tighter fitting dance pants and top, booty shorts and crop tops or tights

and leotard are best. Please no baggy clothes. Shoes- jazz shoes toe thongs or fuzzies for

jazz classes and tap shoes for tap. Hair pulled back.

Hip Hop –Loose, baggy clothing recommended. No jeans please. Clean sneakers.

Combo Classes – All 2-6 year old combo classes should wear clothing that is comfy. Tights

and leotards or shirt and shorts are acceptable. Pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes and

black jazz shoes. Hair pulled back.

Any student not dressed appropriately will be asked to sit out during class.

Talking or goofing around in class is not acceptable, please respect your teacher and class.

Parents, please do not open the door during class unless it is an emergency. Thank you for

your compliance!

Returned Checks/Non Payment

All returned checks are subject to a $25 fee being added to your account. The account

balance will be due before lessons can be resumed. If a balance is left unpaid, the student/s

will not be allowed to participate until balance is paid in full.
