Leslie Saladino | Danceintegrity

Leslie has been choreographing, teaching and performing in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex for over 20 years. She began her study at the early age of three and has trained professionally in many forms of dance including; ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, modern, choreography/staging, kinesiology and dance injury prevention. She was invited to study in New York and has had the privilege of working with many of the country’s top educators including James Clouser, David Howard and Martha Meyers among others. She holds a BA in Dance from The University of North Texas with a concentration on choreography and performance. Leslie has been honored with scholarships from the American Dance Festival (Duke University), Tremaine Dance Conventions and the University of North Texas. She has extensive experience working with performing companies and her dancers are consistently ranked among the top. Leslie’s choreography has earned her numerous awards at the regional and national levels and she was voted best choreographer at UNT among her peers. She has also judged for Showbiz and PrimeTime dance competitions at both the regional and national levels. In 2003, her love of dance and passion for teaching prompted Leslie to establish Xtreme Ballet Workshops, an in-studio convention that places a strong emphasis on the foundations of dance technique. Leslie remains active in the local dance community, often performing and choreographing for charity and commercial events and teaching master classes for local drill and dance teams. She is dedicated to sharing her love of dance with students of all ages. Leslie’s love for the art form is key to her mission; providing each student with quality instruction that will challenge as well as inspire! Outside of the studio, Leslie spends the majority of her time with her crazy, fun-loving family, which include her four children, two cats and one amazing husband!
