Students must come to class on time and prepared. Regular attendance is imperative to the dancer’s progress. IMPORTANT!- Students must maintain a 75% attendance rate if enrolled in unlimited classes (7 or more) or face being dropped of such classes by Dance Integrity.
FIRST NIGHT OF CLASS
Please arrive a few minutes early in order to familiarize yourself with the studio layout. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the office for help. If your child is enrolled in a combo class, the students will be let out half-way through to allow for a change of shoes. Preschool aged children will bring their dance bags into the classroom and will not leave the class room. Your teacher will take weekly attendance in class. If you know you will be absent from class, please email or call the studio so we can let your teacher know. Thank you for your cooperation!
Parking is available in front of and behind the building.
Students are placed in class according to their age, ability, and experience. One or all may apply when placing the dancers in an appropriate class level. **Dance Integrity reserves the right to limit the number of classes per student.**A class must have at least 3 students enrolled or face class cancellation.
ATTIRE AND ETIQUETTE FOR CLASS
Ballet - With the exception of Combo classes, pink color tights and a black leotard must be worn to class. Ballet skirts may be worn with the instructor’s approval. Pink ballet shoes for girls and black flats for boys are preferred. Hair must be pulled back and out of the dancer's face. Jazz /Tap /Lyrical - Tighter fitting dance pants and top, booty shorts and crop tops or tights and leotard are best. Please no baggy clothes. Shoes- jazz shoes toe thongs or fuzzies for jazz classes and tap shoes for tap. Hair pulled back. Hip Hop -Loose, baggy clothing recommended. No jeans please. Clean sneakers (High Top, Converse or something similar for feet) Hair pulled back Combo Classes - All 2-6 year old combo classes should wear clothing that is comfy. Tights and leotards or Tank Top and athletic shorts are acceptable. Pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes and black jazz shoes. Hair pulled back. Any student not dressed appropriately will be asked to sit out during class.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Please be on time. Please be respectful to teachers, parents and especially your classmates. Treat each dancer with support, respect and encouragement. Teachers have the right to dismiss any dancer who displays unsatisfactory behavior.
* Absolutely NO videotaping of any kind, allowed unless written approval from the studio.
Parents and guardians are not allowed in class with the students. Each of our studios have viewing windows or closed circuit TV through which you may watch your dancer(s). Thank you!
Feel free to wait and enjoy FREE WiFi in the studio office while your child is in class. All children in the waiting room MUST have a parent or guardian with them at all times. Dance Integrity will NOT be responsible for watching children. THANK YOU!
MAKE UP CLASSES
Classes that are cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions or any other reason except holidays, may be made up at a later date. If you are sick you may drop in for a class that has open space to make up your missed class. Weather cancellations will be posted on our website, texted to you or on our voicemail which you can reach at 972-317-2828.
WITHDRAWING FROM CLASSES
You are responsible for all aspects of class participation. A 30 day written notice is required if you decide to terminate your enrollment. An enrollment termination form is available at the front desk. Final date to withdraw and receive your full Costume Deposit is November 1st. After this date, you are responsible for all fees, even if not in attendance.
LOST AND FOUND
All items will be placed in a bin by the desk. Unclaimed items will be donated to CCA on a monthly basis.
All students must be covered under their own insurance policy. Should an injury occur, it is understood that the student’s own policy is your only source of reimbursement.

Recital Participation Requirements:
· Students purchase a costume for each class that will perform. We spend many hours determining the correct costumes for each class. They are always high quality and age-appropriate. Preschool students will need one costume; all other students will need one costume for each participating Recreational class they are in. (A list of participating classes is attached.) The cost of the costume is $70.00* and will be divided into 2 payments of $35.00 each due 1/17/14 and 2/1/14. Hip Hop & Drill Team classes pay $45.00 for a costume to be worn with their own jazz or sweatpants which is due 1/17/14. Recital costumes will be ordered right away. Once bulk orders are made, costume companies charge additional shipping and late fees for supplemental orders. An additional fee of $20.00 will be charged for each recital costume not paid in full by 2/1/14. Costume manufacturers do not accept cancellations or offer refunds; therefore our studio does not refund costume deposits. Costumes do not include tights or shoes.
· Students pay a recital fee of $40.00 per individual or $65.00 per family which is due on or before 3/1/14. This fee helps defray the cost of the venue, custodial staff, audio/visual techs, stage hands and additional staff which the venue requires. Recital fees are non-refundable.
· Student attendance is mandatory during the spring while the focus is on choreography and the development of the dances.
· Students must attend the mandatory dress rehearsal which will take place at Lake Dallas High School on Saturday, 5/31/14.

Prices are based on the total number of classes offered from August through June (Fall schedule) and June through August (Summer schedule) Even though some months may have three, four or five classes in the month; tuition remains the same. IMPORTANT!- Students must maintain a 75% attendance rate if enrolled in unlimited classes (7 or more,) or face being dropped such classes by Dance Integrity. Tuition is non-refundable. Tuition is posted on the 1st of each month and cannot be changed after that date. Therefore, if you withdraw on the 3rd of the month, you are responsible for that month’s tuition. Summer fees may be pro-rated at the discretion of Dance Integrity. Fall fees are NOT prorated. Dance Integrity reserves the right to limit the amount of classes a student enrolls in.
All students are required to pay a annual $30 registration fee (individual,) or $55 family at registration. (Summer only fees will be less)*Any registration fee refunds will be at the discretion of Dance Integrity.
External PE students must pay a $25 processing fee that is due with September 1st tuition.
PAYMENTS/ LATE FEES
IMPORTANT: TUITION MUST BE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE
Monthly account payments will be made by auto-draft only or PayPal. This can be with Credit/Debit card or from your bank account. Monthly tuition is due by the 1st of each month. Tuition is non-refundable. A late fee of $15 will be added to your account after the 8th of the month, if there is a problem with auto draft. If an account reaches 20 days past due, at our option; lessons will be suspended. If an account reaches 28 days past due the student will be removed from our records and re-registration with any fees past and present paid before resuming classes.
Tuition is the family’s responsibility and paid for on the first working day of the month by auto draft of credit/debit card, checking account or online by PAYPAL. Dance Integrity will NOT send out monthly statements to families, since this viewing is available online.
To finalize your enrollment and reserve the new classes, you must pay at time of enrollment by auto draft of credit card or checking account.
Returned Checks/Non Payment - All returned checks are subject to a $25 fee being added to your account. The account balance will be due before lessons can be resumed. If a balance is left unpaid, the student/s will not be allowed to participate until balance is paid in full.
